Crazy Ivan did it again! They reclaimed the world title. The team, Dave Foy, Jamie Foy and David O'Sullivan, won with three guns and 38 points overall over eight races (one drop). They hail from Britanna Yacht Club, Ottawa.
A close second goes to another team from Ottawa, Johann Koppernaes, Doug Brown and Michael Lee with 39 points. They sail Shark Poop out of Nepean Sailing Club.
Third place goes to Ketchup with 47 points. George Stedman, Etienne Portelance and Robert Levy were in their home waters of Point Claire Yacht Club.
Congratulations to all those who competed in the 2011 Shark 24 World Championship! Competitors came from far and wide and there were 54 boats on the startline represented by five countries: Canada, US, Austria, Germany and Switzerland.
