Membership Benefits
Annual Membership is CDN$35 for boat owners and CDN$20 for (Associate) crew and other interested non-owners. CSCA membership benefits:
- The shark24.ca website - maintained from Membership Fees and lots of voluntary member support and serves as a valuable resource for the exchange of Shark information and events.
- CSCA AutoEmail - advance notice of Shark Events and Affairs sent to your personal email address
- Representation to governing bodies such as the International Shark Class Association, the Canadian Yachting Association and the various provincial sailing authorities.
- Assistance for your Regional Associations with the organization and promotion of local regattas, measurement and tuning seminars, and social events.
- Negotiation on your behalf for the Fleet Group Insurance Program.
- The right to race in the various Shark Class sanctioned regattas leading to the season's racing championship (Shark of the Year award)
- Maintenance of the Association's books and member mailing list
- Maintenance and when necessary, proposal of revisions to the Association's bylaws and constitution for membership approval.
- A "Free Lunch" - the Annual General Meeting!
