Frost Bite Wins 2016 Homecomer’s Regatta!

September 26, 2016 //  by CSCA VP Communications

Congratulations to James and Rory Gardner, and Tara Cabrera on FROST BITE (CAN 290) – “The Kids” – for their dominant win at the 2016 Homecomer’s Regatta in Niagara-on-the Lake! It is an apt result that a team from Niagara, in a boat that celebrates it’s 50th birthday this year win the 50th running of the Homecomer’s Regatta.

Conditions were ripe for some great racing on both days (including some seriously wacky tacking angles on Sunday’s first race), a great dinner and an AWESOME band had everyone dancing well past their normal bedtimes!

Congratulations as well go to Peter Aker, Jeff Mitchell and David O’Sullivan on TIGER NILES (CAN 1489) for securing Shark of the Year with a grand total of 6 points for the year.

Well done everyone. What a great way to finish off a great regatta year!
